Mods Look Back At The Year
As the calendar slows and the nights draw in, it becomes a natural moment to pause, look back, and really take stock of the last twelve months. The wins, the losses, the late nights, the ridiculous moments in chat, the laughs that caught us off guard, and the support that quietly carried people through tougher days. Reflection isn’t about numbers or highlights alone, it’s about recognising how far we’ve all come together.
The DoddyTheViking community has grown again this year. Not just in size, but in heart. New faces arrived, familiar names became daily constants, and what started as a stream or a Discord server continued to evolve into something much bigger. A place where people show up, look out for one another, and don’t hesitate to celebrate the highs or steady each other through the lows.
With that in mind, a few of the mods took some time to put their thoughts into words. Honest reflections on the year just gone, what the community has meant to them personally, and why DTV continues to feel like home. Their messages aren’t polished statements or rehearsed soundbites, just real words from real people, shared with the same ever-growing, ever-supportive community that makes all of this possible.

As we’re wrapping up another Christmas with me being part of the DTV family, I thought I’d take a little look back at my year. I absolutely love being part of the DTV team. Helping out is my way of giving back to Doddy for the years of endless entertainment, whether I’m feeling low, high, or just a bit lost. You can always rely on a stream to lift your mood, and you genuinely feel like part of a family here
Not entirely sure how I feel about Wez giving me orders… but I do as I’m told, mainly to stop the Hitler in him coming out
The peak moment for me was seeing Doddy hit that million-dollar balance for the first time — that’s something I’ll honestly never forget!! This year I’ve learned so much from the entire mod team, and I’m getting more confident taking the reins and coming up with new activities for the community — which I absolutely love doing! Hopefully I’ll get a few more permissions next year
I’ve had no real lows as a mod — I just learn from the team every single day… even Coley, which I hate admitting because that guy knows everything
I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings for Doddy, his streams, and all the exciting stuff he has planned for the community. Merry Christmas everyone,

What can i say about the last year well here goes. What a year its been with the golf day to start finally meeting my fellow mods an community managers who i had spoken to over and over in calls, meeting the people from the community putting all those names to faces. Yes I came last on the day but was it worth the 7 hr drive oh hell yeah it was. Was there any lows for the year actually I don’t think there was from my side but there was many highs with the big balance streams we had, the start of the madness we call the mod takeovers oh and beating doddy at bowling when he was back here for a bit in the summer loads of things I wanna say but don’t want to blab on and on. All I can say is thankyou to doddy himself my fellow mods and of course to the community for being the lifeforce of the streams and in discord. Merry Xmas and a happy new year to all Big love Coley

looking back on this year, it has been an absolute whirlwind! Starting off as the newest moderator and learning the ropes has been absolutely more fun than I have expected. Being able to meet a lot of of the community during golf day really put into perspective what kind of amazing people we truly have. I firmly believe the only difficult thing about being a moderator is the time difference . The camaraderie and friendship’s that have been created, and or attained within the moderators and community is absolutely priceless! all in all, this has been an absolutely epic experience and I cannot wait to see what the next couple of years will bring!

Been a busy year through out, not just with streams or discord but everything inbetween. Whilst me personally having not been around as much as I would like to have been everyone has stepped up and now we probably have the best team across the platform. Everyone helps each other and if you’ve had a rotten day or bad time in life a quick text or dm and a simple chat squares it away. Whilst you see us all giving each other shit and ripping each other apart, the side you don’t really see is we all actually care about each other and are more like brothers and sisters.

The last year for me being a part of the DTV mod team has been great! Ive found myself feeling more confident in the role, more confident hosting and even organising events for the community in discord. Obviously I lost my mum this year but being able to come on to discord and escape was so helpful. Some dogs have faded but some newbies have made the absences easier. I thoroughly enjoy hosting events in discord, its makes nights seem easier and I feel it brings the community closer together which i love! I also got a surprise promotion to community manager which i am actually so so happy with! Im glad I can help doddy any way possible.

Looking back over the year, one thing stands out above all else – just how fully this community throws itself into whatever chaos we unleash. The way you embraced the new MOD Takeover activities, got involved, took the banter on the chin and somehow asked for more has been unreal. You even accepted the promotion of Shinpad… justified or not, questioned or not, and occasionally shouted about in all caps. For that alone, you deserve medals. We’re massively grateful for the trust, the support, and the willingness to let us experiment, tweak, and sometimes absolutely wing it. We’d also like to thank the lord for chicken nuggets in the bath, a cornerstone of modern civilisation and late-night mod wisdom. Most of all, thank you for making this place what it is. Rest up, because next year we’re going bigger, louder, better, and probably even more unhinged.
As we close out this chapter and step toward whatever madness the next year has in store, one thing remains constant: this community is the heartbeat of everything DTV stands for. Mods, stream team, lurkers, chat goblins, day-ones and brand-new faces alike, every single one of you helps shape what this space becomes. Thank you for showing up, for backing each other, for laughing through the chaos and sticking around when it matters. Take a moment to be proud of what we’ve built together, then get ready to do it all again. Same community, bigger ambitions, and plenty more memories waiting to be made.

A fantastic, welcoming, friendly bunch of people! The DTV mod team give so much time to the community and certainly from a personal perspective I’ve gone from a lurker to feeling part of it all thanks to all the fun activities they put on.
It’s not all about gambling, it’s about having fun and making friends along the way.
Thanks to all the mods for everything you’ve done in 2025, I’m off to eat some chicken nuggets in the bath.

It has been a massive year for Doddy, for the mods and for the community. Doddy has been smashing it like usual, the mods have stepped it up 10gears and always have something fun to keep us entertained in the evenings, wez has been keeping us up to date with all things gamdom and doddy on here, and the community doddy has created is just amazing. Thankyou all for everything tou do for us all x

Great set of people who provide endless hours of entertainment in discord and help Doddy out. I find I’m more of a lurker now but brilliant to see discord thriving as much as the streams do. Keep smashing it guys.

This has been an absolute top tier team of mods. I have enjoyed all the activities, all the banter and all other shit that happens in Discord and during all the mod activities (i have been part of).
I’ve had periods of being in and out. Now trying to be there as much as I can, try to have a chat (if shinpad doesn’t make an absolute chaos of the activity haha)
I wish the full DTV team and all of the community a merry christmas! Lets hope 2026 gives us more milly streams and fewer rips!

Been part of the community for about 4 years now and I can honestly say it just keeps getting better. Highlight of 2025 was both the milli 2.0 stream and the golf weekend. Can’t wait to see what degeneracy is planned for 2026

What a year it has been, many highs and many lows and such a rollercoaster.
The mod team have done a fantastic job to bring us all the new entertainment and everyone is made to feel welcome, its like a big family and always a laugh on every activity.
